UK Home Office Increases Immigration and Nationality Fees from 8 April 2026

The Home Office has published new immigration and nationality fees that will start on 8 April 2026. Most fees will increase by about 6-7%. 

Key changes to the fees include: 

  • Student visa for main applicant and dependants will increase to £558, up from £524.  
  • Child Student visa will increase to £558, up from £524. 
  • Short-term Student visa (for those studying English language for more than 6 months but not more than 11 months) will rise to £228, up from £214.  
  • The cost of an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) will increase to £20, up from £16.  
  • A standard six-month visit visa will increase to £135, up from £127. 
  • Graduate route fees for main applicants and dependants will rise to £937, up from £880.
