Introduction of eVisas - Information Sessions

UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) is moving to a digital immigration system. This means they are replacing physical Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) cards with an online record of your immigration status, known as an eVisa. If you currently hold a physical document to prove your immigration rights, you will need to visit www.gov.uk/evisa to set up an eVisa account. The deadline for this transition is 31 December 2024, which is also the expiry date of your BRP card.

To assist you with this transition and to answer any questions you may have, the Immigration Support Service at Queen’s is running three one-hour information sessions on eVisa for students in the Cube, One Elmwood:

* Session 1       10am, Tuesday, 19th November 2024

* Session 2       11amWednesday, 27th November 2024

* Session 3       3pm, Thursday, 28th November 2024

If you wish to attend one of these sessions, please register by completing the form to register.
