Featuring unseen footage and interviews with global leaders - including Queen’s Chancellor, Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton - as well as interviews with the University’s staff and students, Delivering the Impossible: Agreement 25 captures and celebrates the collaborative effort from across the University community that made possible the successful delivery of the high-profile and impactful international peace conference.

The film, which was directed and produced by Stephen Douds, was showcased at a special screening event hosted at the Queen’s Film Theatre (QFT) on Tuesday 5 December. The event included a panel discussion led by journalist and broadcaster Donna Traynor, reflecting on Agreement 25.

President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir Ian Greer commented:

“The successful delivery of the Agreement 25 Conference was a remarkably proud moment for Queen’s. It was an honour to bring together prominent global figures to share their expertise in peace building as we marked the 25th anniversary of the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement. We are therefore delighted to partner with Fine Point Films on a documentary which captures this sense of pride and achievement. It is an important addition to our institutional archive.”
