Mental Health Awareness Week – Monday 13 to Friday 17 May

A range of wellbeing and sporting events, centred around the theme of 'Movement', are now available for booking. A number of external and internal experts and providers will be on campus throughout the week.

QUEEN'S RECEIVES ATHENA SWAN GOLD AWARD FOR GENDER EQUALITY

Queen’s has become the first university on the island of Ireland and only the second in the UK to achieve the Athena Swan Gold Award.

Positioning the University as a leader in gender equality in the higher education sector, the prestigious award is the result of 25 years of hard work led by visionary senior women and enabled by committed Champions and networks of staff and students, working on behalf of the Queen’s community.

REACH '24 – Queen's first Arts and Sustainability Festival

REACH '24, Queen's University Belfast's first arts and sustainability festival, took place from Thursday 18 to Saturday 20 April, showcasing a range of projects, practice-based work and community engagement projects from across Ireland, and featuring various events including an art exhibition focused on the festival theme.

Richard, from the Orchardville Society, has been working in an Admin Support role at Queen’s Sport; Daniela was recently a Clerical Assistant in the School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work.
