The move marks the next step in the Directorate's ongoing transformation as they implement the commitments set out in the People and Culture Strategy, People First.

Alongside their new name, the People and Culture Directorate have refreshed their website to match the usage behaviour of managers, employees and job applicants, making it more user friendly in the process.

Brian Parkes, People and Culture Director, said:

"I believe that this is an important step in implementing the commitments set out in our People and Culture Strategy, People First. Our new name better reflects the ways in which my directorate and the wider University puts its people at the centre of everything we do.
