Athena SWAN Bronze Award for School of Law

Queen's School of Law has achieved Bronze in the latest round of Athena SWAN awards, adding to a growing number of these awards across the University.

The Athena SWAN Charter recognises commitment shown by Universities and their individual Schools and Departments to advancing women's careers.

The School's Bronze Award recognises its commitment to gender equality and the solid foundations it has in place in eliminating gender bias and developing an inclusive culture that values all staff and students.

Athena SWAN Champion in the School, Dr Kathryn McNeilly, commented on the Award:

"Our Bronze Award is recognition of a significant period of self-assessment in the School over the past two years and makes visible the School's embedding of equality and inclusion in all aspects of life for staff and students. We look forward to continuing work in this area in the coming months and years."

The School's application was noted by Advance HE as one of the strongest submissions in this year's award round.

Congratulations to the School and the Team involved in achieving this recognition.
