Shannon, who has been acting as Director of Operations in the Faculty since April 2020, brings a wide range of experience and expertise to this important leadership role. As Director of Operations in EPS, Shannon will provide the leadership and vision to support the Faculty’s internationally leading research coupled with outstanding teaching and learning, taking overall responsibility for delivery of effective professional services and technical support in EPS and advising on key strategic decisions.

Commenting on her appointment, Shannon said: "I am delighted to take up the post of Director of Operations for the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences. I am passionate about driving organisational excellence and will relish the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of students and staff in the Faculty.
