Website Content Accessibility Review
Introduction
Before requesting that a new website is published live via the Web Content Management System (CMS), it is a mandatory requirement as part of the website process, for the Website Owner / Editor to submit the Website Content Accessibility Review Checklist. The checklist focuses on website accessibility requirements. It will help you to audit the content created to populate your website and ensure that it adheres to accessibility regulations and content usage requirements. The checklist has been created using Microsoft Forms and when the form is submitted a copy is emailed to the Web Support Team for review.
Requesting a Website Publish
With the Website Content Accessibility Checklist submitted, the next, and in most cases, the final step for Website Owners / Editors is to request that the website is published to a live URL. To request this, please do the following:
- Log a support call via the IT Service Desk.
- In the Summary field add the text 'FAO: Web Support Team - Website Publish Request.'
- In the Description field, please provide the name of the website, when you would like the website to go live, and confirmation that you have submitted the Website Content Accessibility Checklist.
A member of the Web Support Team will then be in contact via the support ticket to assist you with this request.
