Join in the conversation between individuals and communities in Northern Ireland about data.

The Northern Ireland Public Data Panel (NIPDP) aims to discuss, under a range of topics, how our data in Northern Ireland is or could be used for public good. Panel members will:

  • Explore our understanding of how data is collected and used in Northern Ireland
  • Advise on how public trust, transparency and acceptance in the use of data can be supported
  • Discuss the meaning and evidencing of public benefit in data use
  • Members will also be co-developing the panel and its work, and advocating for its use.

Application to NIPDP

The Northern Ireland Public Data Panel (NIPDP) welcomes applications from across sectors; community, government, industry, academia and about all types of data use for public good. Applications can be easily submitted via email to info@nipdp.org making it accessible for anyone with an interest in improving the use of public data in Northern Ireland.
