WLS Travel Bursaries
The World Lagomorph Society (WLS) is keen to support international students and early career researchers (within eight years of PhD graduation) to attend the 7th World Lagomorph Conference (WLC7) to present their research and facilitate networking. Conference attendance is vital for students and early career researchers to expand their experience and forge potential collaborative relationships.
We are particularly keen to support those who have submitted an abstract for an oral presentation especially those undertaking research on less well know lagomorph species (including pilot projects) and IUCN red-listed species.
The travel bursary may be used to cover flights, other forms of travel (trains/buses etc.) and accommodation costs. Decision making and funding allocation will be made on a case-by-case basis by the WLC7 Scientific Committee based on the merit of the abstract submitted. Priority will be given to those travelling from the Global South (see map); defined by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development as developing economies:
To apply for a travel bursary please complete the MSForm Application below and upload evidence of your current status as an actively registered student or academic staff (a scanned image of your student/staff card including passport style photo, student/staff number and date of expiry printed to PDF).
