Queen's students win second place at Ecotrophelia UK final
Congratulations to our 3 Food Science and Nutrition students impressed the judges with their product No Doh
Congratulations to Queen's Food Science and Nutrition students Jayne Hanna, Megan Crockard, and Sarah Carlisle, who won second prize at the Ecotrophelia UK competition in May 2024.
The Ecotrophelia Competition challenges students around Europe to develop a sustainable and innovative food product from concept to market. It promotes environmentally and socially sustainable design, with the aim of inspiring future generations of entrepreneurs to create innovative products. From idea generation through to the final packaged product, the teams get a hands-on experience of what it takes to bring an eco-friendly food or drink product to market.
The students have won £1,000 to develop their product and the InQUBate team will be excited to support them on that journey.
