Mark’s research explores how new forms of data (e.g., text, images, loyalty cards) can supplement traditional forms of data (e.g., electronic health records, longitudinal surveys) for understanding the social and spatial drives of health inequalities. In Groundswell, they are interested in how we can make the best use of spatial data about urban green and blue spaces to identify the effectiveness of interventions for narrowing health inequalities.
