Paula Dougan, Athena Swan Project Manager, was delighted to represent the Queen’s Gender Initiative in this panel discussion and shared some information about the University's development of guidance to support its staff through menopause.

Other panellists included Stephanie Reid, Menopause Expert Speaker representative for NI and ROI, presenting on the importance of Menopause in the Workplace, alongside Helen Smyth, Employment Relations Manager at Labour Relations Agency to talk about their guide for employers on promoting equality in the employment of women experiencing the menopause and TLT partner Louise Chopra discussed the journey and changes that TLT has implemented to support women at critical life stages, including the menopause and other reproductive health issues.
